In January 2008, a dream came to fruition when we first opened the doors at Traveling Tails Inn. It has been a journey as entrepreneurs and with all the things we’ve learned along the way; we couldn’t be happier that we have met such great people & pups that are a part of our TTI family!

We are extremely proud to be able to provide the best doggy daycare, boarding, grooming, & training experience in the area! We had a vision to offer services that we wanted our own pups to experience in the event we had to travel and couldn’t take our dogs with us or they needed exercise & socialization and life responsibilities took precedence. Thus, Traveling Tails Inn was created to provide a 24 hour supervised care & all day kennel-free doggy daycare, boarding, mobile grooming, bathing, & training experience to include webcams in all of the play areas for parents & family to be able to see their pups while they are away. Our mission is to provide quality care for dogs and peace of mind for families as their pups enjoy fun, games, & companionship during their stay.

Once you’ve seen our facility you’ll know you’ve found the perfect place for your pups overall care experience!

A little bit about me (Chris): I’m from northern Illinois and migrated to Edwardsville where I attended SIUE and became a Physical Education/Health teacher. I taught for about nine years prior to TTI, then became a Certified Dog Trainer & Pet Stylist which eventually led me to open the Traveling Tails Inn Mobile Grooming Unit. In my spare time I’m an outdoors personality so I enjoy hiking, fishing, gardening, and traveling when I can.

A little bit about me (Cindy): I’m from southern Illinois and moved to Edwardsville to attend SIUE where I became a Counselor and Certified teacher. I taught for 23 years prior to opening TTI. When I’m not working I enjoy going to concerts, the theater, or the movies. I also enjoy spending time with our pups and traveling.

Pictured here you see us with our dog family, from left to right, Boomer, Cricket, Charmin, and Breyer. All rescues here, and Breyer our old girl (14) lovingly known to most as Mamma Sweet, is a retired agility star in her own rights. Cricket hopes to follow in her footsteps.
